# Emergency Withdraw

After taking part in and purchasing a token on presale, in case you change your mind and want to withdraw your contribution back, you can use "Emergency Withdraw" button for a penalty fee of 10% of your contribution.

1. From the presale/fairlaunch/subscription page, click on the "Emergency Withdraw" button
2. Click on "Ok" to confirm the emergency withdrawal process
3. After clicking on “OK”, MetaMask will now ask you to confirm the transaction. It will also show you the fee that you are required to pay for that transaction. If you agree, then click on the “Confirm” button to finish the process.

Note:

* Emergency withdrawal takes your contribution (with 10% penalty) out of Presale Pool
* You can use "Emergency Withdraw" button anytime until the last 15 Minutes before a presale timer runs out.
* If the hard cap is reached faster than timer then you can use "Emergency Withdraw" button until the timer would run out of the presale.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://oni.gitbook.io/oni.exchange/investing/emergency-withdraw.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
